• Medical Laboratory Scientist: $27.50 - $44.00
• Medical Laboratory Technician: $22.50 - $34.50

The role involves overseeing the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical stages of testing. Adherence to standard operating procedures is essential, along with ensuring compliance with laboratory safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This position serves as a resource for other healthcare professionals and requires collaboration with various departments within the organization. The ability to exercise critical and independent judgment in decision-making and problem-solving is crucial. Additional related duties may be assigned as necessary.

• A Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences is mandatory.
• Must hold a national certification for Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from an accredited Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or be eligible for registry. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) is also acceptable.
• Registry-eligible candidates must pass the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment.
• If employed in North Dakota (ND), licensure by the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice is required.
• Continuing education credits must be maintained as per state requirements for licenses and certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.

• An Associate's degree in Laboratory Science is required.
• Must possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) from an approved HHS agency, such as ASCP, or be registry eligible.
• Registry-eligible candidates must successfully complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment.
• If working in North Dakota (ND), a license or provisional license from the ND Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice is necessary.
• Continuing education credits must be maintained as per state requirements for licenses and certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
