Mechanical Engineer

XTech is seeking to employ a full time Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our highly experienced technology development team. The acceptable candidate will be required to perform a variety of mechanical engineering and interrelated tasks during the development of a novel suite of industry breakthrough technologies. Specific skill acquisition training will be available. Breakthrough technologies. Specific skill acquisition training will be available.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical equipment design, analysis, modeling, and testing
• Developing third party vendor specifications and management
• Oversee manufacture various component parts
• Oversee/produce drawings for the manufacture of various components
• Review safety protocols
• Document design narratives & engineering analysis
• Produce Standard Operating Procedures for various processes

​Qualifications:

• An appropriate engineering degree
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience with 3D modeling software
• Previous experience in mechanical, structural, or electrical engineering projects
• Familiarity with designing for manufacturability
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple and diverse projects

Additional Beneficial Experience/Skills/Familiarity:

• Familiarity with manual and / or CNC processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with basic and / or advanced electricity or power electronics.
• Familiarity with basic and / or advanced chemistry.
