Emergency Medicine - Physician - Administration

• Designated as a Level IV Trauma Center
• Features an 18-bed emergency department with around 22,000 visits annually
• Physicians manage approximately 1.7 patients per hour, with an 11% admission rate
• Supported by 26 hours of physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverage each day
• Utilizes MediTech for electronic medical records
• Offers strong specialty support, including anesthesiology, cardiology, ENT, gynecology, hematology/oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, and more

• Position as Assistant Facility Medical Director with specific administrative duties
• Collaborate closely with the Facility Medical Director to enhance departmental operations, physician engagement, quality initiatives, patient experience, and overall emergency department performance
• Mentor physicians and APCs while promoting a collaborative, patient-focused environment

• W2 employed status
• Compensation includes a base rate plus an RVU model

• ABEM board certification required
• Preferred minimum of two years of post-residency emergency medicine experience
• Leadership experience is a plus, but not mandatory
