The launch of our inaugural Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Summer 2027 presents a unique chance for the medical director to influence the future of emergency medicine education while guiding a high-performing clinical team.
Additionally, our organization has broadened its emergency care services with the recent opening of an affiliated emergency department in Manor, Texas, which enhances collaboration and growth within our system.

Leadership Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, clinical, and operational oversight for the emergency department
- Collaborate with hospital administration and leadership to enhance quality, patient experience, physician engagement, and departmental performance
- Mentor and nurture physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and future emergency medicine residents
- Promote clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and adherence to evidence-based best practices

Position Details
- W2 employed position
- Compensation model includes a base rate plus RVUs
- Monthly administrative stipend and quarterly performance incentives
- Attractive sign-on bonus

Candidate Qualifications
- ABEM board certification required
- Prior experience in physician leadership is preferred
- Eligibility for Texas medical licensure
- Active clinical practice within the past 12 months
- Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (expired ATLS accepted)
