Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

Job Summary:
Performs clinical laboratory testing to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Operates laboratory equipment, analyzes specimens, reports accurate test results, and maintains compliance with laboratory quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.

• Current MT/MLS/CLS certification or state licensure as required.

• Recent clinical laboratory experience preferred.

• Experience in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood bank preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and verify laboratory tests on biological specimens.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.

• Ensure specimen integrity and accurate test reporting.

• Perform quality control and maintain laboratory documentation.

• Communicate critical laboratory results promptly.

• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.

• Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support quality patient care.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
