Junior Program Control Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Junior Program Control Specialist to become a part of our USMC Team located in Quantico, VA. This role is centered around acquisition and information assurance, where the selected individual will support the Lead Information Systems Security Manager and help manage the Information Assurance Program.

• Provide comprehensive administrative and program support to the Lead Information System Security Manager (ISSM) within a Marine Corps organization. Utilize strong organizational and communication skills to ensure daily tasks are accomplished efficiently and on schedule.
• Leverage foundational knowledge in information technology and information assurance to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to the ISSM and the broader information assurance team.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of program documentation and related materials, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy. This includes drafting, reviewing, and updating various documents, presentations, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with product managers, team leaders, competency representatives, and both internal and external stakeholders as directed by government personnel.
• Support technical studies and evaluate current and future requirements.
• Engage with cybersecurity, information assurance, and information technology policies, directives, and processes to enhance your career development and technical expertise.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or a High School diploma accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Possession of a Security+ certification.
• A fundamental understanding of cybersecurity and information technology environments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• Must hold a current and active DoD Top Secret / SCI clearance.

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
