Medical Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator

2029 1st Ave, New York, NY 10029
Full-time | $20–$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable team member to welcome patients, manage scheduling, and keep our front desk running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and handle check-in, check-out, forms, and authorized payments.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments; follow up on referrals, cancellations, and missed visits.
  • Verify insurance benefits and authorization requirements, and track approved visits.
  • Answer calls, respond to messages, and process incoming documents.
  • Keep patient records accurate and confidential.
  • Work closely with therapists and staff, and bring unresolved issues to management.

Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Dependable team player with good organization and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers and managing multiple front desk tasks.
  • Medical office, scheduling, or insurance verification experience preferred.
  • Spanish-speaking skills preferred.
