Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for assembling products and components according to established specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, manual dexterity, and the ability to safely use a variety of hand tools and production equipment.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and established procedures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, production equipment, and other assembly equipment as required.
• Inspect products and components to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and report defective materials, damaged components, or quality issues.
• Maintain a consistent production pace while meeting quality and productivity requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain an efficient production workflow.
• Accurately complete production documentation, inspection records, and timekeeping requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle, move, and organize materials and components as needed.
• Follow established procedures for identifying, labeling, packaging, and storing finished products.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and resolving production or assembly issues.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly procedures, and basic documentation.
• Ability to use common hand tools and power tools.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to learn and follow established processes and procedures.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
  

Physical Demands & Working Environment

• Ability to lift and carry materials and components weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for assembly tasks.
• Ability to work around moving equipment and machinery.
• May be exposed to typical manufacturing environment conditions, including noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
