Join Northedge Steel

Northedge Steel builds pre-engineered metal buildings. We are looking for a Digital Marketing and Automation Specialist who can turn marketing activity into qualified leads, engaged prospects, and measurable sales results. You will own paid campaigns, marketing automation, lead nurturing, website improvements, and performance reporting.

You should have practical experience building campaigns and automated workflows, evaluating results, and making improvements. Working closely with Sales, you will help prospects move from their first inquiry through the buying process and reconnect with those who are not yet ready to purchase.

Key responsibilities

Paid campaigns and lead generation

Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads and Meta campaigns, including targeting, messaging, budget pacing, and performance testing.

Improve SEO and SEM through keyword research, website updates, relevant content, and landing pages that turn visits into qualified inquiries.

Track lead sources and quality in HubSpot; use sales feedback and campaign data to improve conversion and return on marketing spend.

HubSpot and marketing automation

Build and maintain workflows, segmented lists, lifecycle stages, triggers, and email and SMS nurture campaigns in HubSpot.

Create nurture and reengagement campaigns for prospects who are not ready to buy, older leads, and appropriate closed-lost opportunities.

Test workflows before launch, maintain accurate CRM data, and coordinate engagement signals and handoffs with Sales.

Sales support and customer messaging

Partner with Sales on buying timelines, customer questions, objections, and reasons opportunities stall; use those insights to adjust campaigns.

Create useful messaging about building options, project planning, site preparation, FAQs, customer projects, and testimonials.

Key responsibilities continued

Website performance and reporting

Maintain website content and landing pages using a CMS such as WordPress, coordinating with web developers when needed.

Build dashboards and reports covering lead quality, conversion rates, nurture engagement, pipeline contribution, campaign ROI, and revenue attribution.

Identify where prospects drop out of the customer journey and recommend practical improvements to campaigns, automation, and the website.

What you bring

Professional experience personally managing digital campaigns and marketing automation, with examples of your responsibilities and results.

Hands-on experience managing Google Ads and Meta campaigns, including optimization decisions based on performance data.

Experience building automated email sequences, workflows, segmented audiences, and lead nurture programs in HubSpot or a comparable platform. Candidates using another platform must be able to explain how their experience transfers to HubSpot.

Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, landing page optimization, and website content management.

Experience using Google Analytics and CRM reporting to evaluate campaign performance and connect leads to sales outcomes.

Clear writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot campaign or workflow problems.

Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate progress, and collaborate with Sales on lead quality and follow-up.

Ability to meet the onsite schedule and commute requirements listed above.

Preferred experience and training

Direct HubSpot experience is preferred. Experience in construction, manufacturing, home improvement, or another industry with a longer buying process is helpful but not required.

You will have the opportunity to own campaigns from setup through reporting and work directly with Sales to see their impact. We can train you on our products, customer needs, and internal sales processes. You should bring practical campaign management and marketing automation experience.

What success looks like

Success means generating qualified leads, improving conversion, keeping prospects engaged until they are ready to buy, and giving Sales useful visibility into customer activity. You should be able to explain what is working, what needs to change, and how your work contributes to pipeline and revenue.
