Pay: $25.00-$31.00/hour (dependent upon experience and education)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00 AM-6:00 PM
Flexibility: Alternate 4-day schedules may be considered
Weekend Requirement: No weekends currently required

As our Lead Veterinary Surgical Technician , you'll serve as both a hands-on clinical expert and a trusted surgical resource for the team. You'll oversee anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, patient recovery, and post-operative care while supporting teammates and helping create a positive, collaborative work environment. We're looking for someone who communicates openly, enjoys mentoring others, and believes great patient care starts with strong teamwork.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE NON-NEGOTIABLE

5+ years of Veterinary Technician experience
Extensive surgical experience required
Advanced anesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing skills
Strong knowledge of patient recovery and post-operative care
Experience preparing patients, instruments, equipment, and surgical suites for procedures
Ability to confidently manage anesthetized patients and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to patient care
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
Must be 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS NOT A DEAL BREAKER

CVT, LVT, or RVT credential preferred
Experience mentoring, training, or supporting fellow technicians
Leadership experience is a plus but can be developed after hire
Dental procedure and dental radiography experience
Experience developing workflows, protocols, and clinical processes
Passion for continuing education and professional development
Warm, welcoming personality with a team-first mindset
