<p>Job Title: Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer<br>Location: Brunswick, Georgia<br>Schedule:<br>Monday to Friday, day shift<br>8-hour shifts preferred, with flexibility for 4x10s<br>On-call rotation every 3 weeks for one full week<br>Compensation: $33.20 - $48.84 per hour</p><p>Job Overview:</p><p>We are seeking a certified Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer to join a busy cardiopulmonary team at a 240-bed hospital in Brunswick, Georgia.</p><p>This role is ideal for a motivated, growth-minded sonographer who is comfortable working in a high-volume echo environment and is committed to producing high-quality diagnostic studies. The department performs 400+ echocardiograms per month and uses advanced echo equipment, including five echo machines and four E95 machines. The team also performs 3D and 4D scans.</p><p>The Echo Technician will perform diagnostic-quality ultrasound studies of the heart and great vessels while working closely with cardiologists, clinical staff, and department leadership.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>Perform diagnostic echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound studies.<br>Obtain required views and quantitative landmarks for each study.<br>Perform measurements according to department protocol.<br>Prepare images, reports, and video for physician review.<br>Respond appropriately to STAT, ASAP, and same-day echo requests.<br>Recognize and report life-threatening ultrasound findings.<br>Operate and maintain echo equipment safely.<br>Support a high-volume department performing 400+ echos per month.<br>Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other clinical team members.<br>Follow department policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>High school diploma or equivalent required.<br>Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program preferred.<br>Echocardiography experience preferred.<br>Certification required through one of the following:<br>ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS<br>CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer, RCS</p><p>Preferred Skills:</p><p>Experience with M-Mode, 2D, Color Doppler, TEE, 3D, and 4D imaging.<br>Strong attention to detail and image quality.<br>Ability to work independently in a busy clinical environment.<br>Comfortable with a high-volume echo workload.<br>Strong communication and teamwork skills.<br>Coachable, dependable, and committed to continued professional growth.</p><p>Ideal Candidate:</p><p>The ideal candidate is certified, dependable, and motivated to grow within a busy hospital-based echo department.
