<p><strong>Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology</strong> </br> <strong>Location:</strong> Independence, MO </br> <strong>Agency:</strong> Concentric Healthcare Staffing </br> <strong>Pay:</strong> Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) </br> <strong>Contract Duration:</strong> 13 Weeks </br> <strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP </br></p> <h4 >About the Position</h4> <p>TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Oncology RN in Independence, Missouri, 64057!<br><br><p></p><h2>Job Title</h2><p>Travel RN – Medical Oncology (Days)</p><h2>Location</h2><p>Independence, MO | Acute Care</p><h2>Schedule / Job Type</h2><p>Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | 48 Hours Guaranteed | Every Third Weekend Required</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Med-Surg/Oncology/Hospice unit with a 1:6 patient ratio</li><li>Care for hemodynamically stable patients requiring cardiac monitoring with no interventions</li><li>Perform procedures including wound vac changes, drain removal, IV/PICC line management, Foley insertion/removal, and NG insertion/removal</li><li>Utilize documentation system (Meditech) and unit equipment including I-med, I-mobile, Neurons vitals machines, glucometers, PCAs, wound vacs, chest tubes, and surgical drains</li><li>Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including Clinical Care Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries</li><li>Float to Med-Surg and Telemetry units as needed (Med-Surg level patients)</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Active Registered Nurse (RN) license</li><li><strong>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</strong></li><li>Minimum 1 year of RN experience</li><li>Experience with Med-Surg and/or Oncology patient populations</li><li>Proficiency or ability to work with Meditech documentation system</li></ul><h2>Preferred Experience / Skills</h2><ul><li>Experience with Hospice or cardiac monitoring patients</li><li>Familiarity with PICC lines, wound vacs, chest tubes, and surgical drains</li><li>Team-oriented, positive attitude, and patient-centered approach</li></ul><h2>Why Join Us</h2><ul><li>Guaranteed hours (48 hours preferred) provide stability and predictability throughout your 13-week assignment</li><li>Work in a dynamic, well-supported unit with a collaborative multidisciplinary care team</li></ul><p></p></p><p> <b>About Concentric Healthcare Staffing</b><br><p>Founded and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Concentric Healthcare Staffing specializes in healthcare employment with an emphasis in nursing and allied health.
