Head of Human Resources

Serving as a trusted and candid advisor to the Chairman & CEO, executive leadership team, and managers across the business, you will play a critical role in aligning people strategy with organizational objectives. This is a hands-on executive leadership position responsible for connecting workforce strategy, organizational capability, compensation and benefits programs, workforce economics, and compliant HR operations to support the Company's business goals.

This leader will be expected to independently evaluate complex workforce, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and organizational challenges, transforming information into clear, actionable, and decision-ready recommendations. The ideal candidate brings intellectual curiosity, creativity, strong business and financial acumen, executive presence, and the confidence to challenge assumptions while offering practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible human resources experience, including at least five years leading an HR function or substantial HR organization.
• Demonstrated success advising a CEO and executive team on complex workforce, organizational, compensation, benefits, and employee-relations matters.
• Strong financial and quantitative acumen, including the ability to analyze costs, trends, forecasts, assumptions, scenarios, and business tradeoffs.
• Evidence of excellent executive writing and presentation skills, including concise decision papers, dashboards, and presentations for senior leaders or Boards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions, operate independently, manage ambiguity, and convert analysis into practical execution.
• Broad knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, compensation, benefits, talent management, performance management, HR operations, and workforce analytics.
• Experience managing annual benefits renewals and working directly with brokers, carriers, consultants, and vendors.
• Ability to independently manage sensitive and complex matters with sound judgment, courage, discretion, and appropriate urgency.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, workforce analytics, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Senior-level HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
• Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Senior HR leadership experience in federal government contracting, defense, professional services, technology, or another highly regulated environment.

Experience supporting cleared workforces, multiple states, geographically dispersed employees, executive compensation, mergers or integrations, and government-contractor compliance
