Overview

Join Rabobank as a VP, Project Finance Specialist within the Structuring & Execution team to structure and execute financing solutions for renewable energy, energy transition, and data center infrastructure in North America. You will lead deal teams, engage with clients, and help grow Rabobank's project finance platform through disciplined, value-driven transactions. You'll operate in a collaborative, cross-border setting that values customer focus and risk-aware decision making. Responsibilities

• Support Deal Captains to grow the client base and maintain Rabobank visibility in the market
• Identify market and technology trends and convert opportunities into profitable transactions through structuring and efficient closing
• Manage transactions through the internal credit process with collaboration across credit, regional, and business line managers
• (Co-)manage deal teams, including training, coaching and supervising junior transactors
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring a loan portfolio including expansions, refinancings, restructurings, and exits as needed
• Collaborate with other product teams (derivatives, capital markets) and coordinate with Project Finance Europe and Asia
• Contribute to development of new products and techniques in changing markets with cross-functional partners

Key requirements

• Bachelor in business administration
• 7+ years of energy/infrastructure project finance experience or equivalent
• Financial structuring and banking skills
• Energy sector and project finance knowledge
• Financial analytical and risk assessment skills
• Interpersonal skills, including teamwork
• Client, marketing, and negotiating skills
