Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to identify automation opportunities and improve efficiency
• Eliminate manual bottlenecks; streamline financial workflows
• Build and optimize automated financial models and workbooks
• Map end-to-end processes to reduce manual data entry and reconciliation
• Design dynamic financial dashboards for stakeholders across UW Medicine and leadership
• Oversee training of automated tools and standardized operating procedures
• Identify and implement best practices in financial data analysis and report production
• Participate in financial operations and data analytics; propose process improvements
• Act as lead Finance RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Business Analyst liaison

Key requirements

• Bachelor
• 5 years of progressively complex financial accounting experience with strong reporting background
• 3+ years supervisory or lead experience
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and handling large data sets
• Experience analyzing data, synthesizing results, and presenting recommendations
• Intellectually curious with attention to detail
• Ability to build relationships across all organization levels
