Overview

In this role you will develop and manage a portfolio of business banking relationships, driving new business, servicing clients, and ensuring sound credit decisions. You will collaborate with branch partners to maximize cross-sell opportunities and support clients with cash management and other bank services. You'll network with referral sources to grow the portfolio and manage risk across loans and deposits. This is a performance-driven position with clear sales targets and a focus on client satisfaction and relationship growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop new banking relationships with business prospects and service existing business clients
• Achieve established sales and revenue goals
• Collaborate with branch partners to cross-sell bank products and services
• Network with centers of influence (accountants, attorneys, referral sources)
• Evaluate credit information and structure loan requests to manage risk
• Negotiate with underwriters and clients to optimize revenue and minimize risk
• Manage loan and deposit production targets and oversee 15-40 relationship-managed clients
• Participate in business banking and retail sales sprints and meet call targets
• Utilize prescribed selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
• Engage in civic and cultural organizations and programs
• Work with internal contacts to service clients

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related sales/banking experience
• Knowledge of personal computers and the software used by the department
• Ability to read and analyze financial statements and tax returns
• Sound credit skills for evaluating loan requests
• Strong understanding of Cash Management, Merchant Services, Trade Services products for Business Banking
