Overview

In this role you lead transportation planning initiatives within HDR's Transportation Business Group. You'll drive area coordination, staffing, and quality improvements to deliver client-focused services. You'll work with cross-functional teams to advance standards, budgets, and strategic plans while shaping practice groups and communications. Responsibilities

• Coordinate area activities and manage projects to meet client needs and market goals
• Deliver project services aligned with client expectations and quality benchmarks
• Collaborate with area operations, marketing and project management on business class initiatives
• Participate in practice groups and discipline teams to improve standards, QA/QC
• Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting and plan execution for the business class
• Manage staffing, workload, and resources for BC projects in coordination with PMs and the Project Delivery Lead
• Lead internal BC strategic planning initiatives and communications
• Oversee BC technical development in the Area and organize participation in practice groups
• Conduct Project and Quality Control Reviews
• Perform other duties as needed

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
• 10 years of experience
• Professional registration in a relevant field
• Experience in developing and managing diverse teams
• Ability to work cooperatively with area leaders, operations, technical directors and marketing managers
