Associate, Investment Operations Asset-Based Finance PGIM Alternative Investments( Hybrid/ Newark, NJ)

In this role you will support PGIM's Alternative Investment Operations, providing operational oversight across ABF and Residential Mortgage Whole Loan strategies. You will work across the investment lifecycle, coordinating deal onboarding, settlement, funding, asset servicing, and secondary trading with cross-functional teams. The position blends execution, controls, and reporting to drive efficient, accurate portfolio support. This is a hybrid Newark, NJ role with a strong emphasis on collaboration and process improvement.

• Facilitate deal execution in collaboration with deal teams, counsel, fund management, and stakeholders
• Capture and maintain trading activity in the Order Management System (OMS) with accurate IBOR records
• Manage end-to-end wire payments for deal funding and settlement
• Coordinate and execute private asset transfers
• Oversee daily cash production, forecasting, and positioning
• Investigate and resolve cash and position breaks with internal and external partners
• Prepare and distribute routine and ad hoc business and management reports
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to boost efficiency and controls

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline (preferred)
• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services
• Experience supporting Asset Based Finance, Residential Mortgage Loans, Private Credit, or Restructures
• Intermediate or Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving, research, and judgment with appropriate escalation of complex matters
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
