As Regional Account Chief in GRP, you apply advanced underwriting knowledge to shape best practices and training for GRP and client reinsurance teams. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality underwriting solutions. You'll translate expertise into updated guidelines, teaching content, and quality reviews that improve client outcomes. Responsibilities

• Act as gatekeeper of GRP best practices and ensure guidelines and training materials are up to date
• Collaborate with GRP Underwriting SMEs and GB Underwriting Best Practices to reflect current standards
• Draft, peer review and publish content for internal SharePoint and external underwriting manuals
• Develop and maintain training curricula and materials focused on pricing, risk assessment and financial analysis (Group Life, Disability, Supplemental Health)
• Perform internal and presale quality management reviews for life and disability underwriting
• Lead action plans to improve GRP and client underwriting quality across teams
• Underwrite new business quotes and renewals as a strategic reserve during high demand
• Lead or participate in cross-functional GRP initiatives
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Possibly adjust underwriting authority levels and support change management initiatives

Key requirements

• Group life and disability underwriting experience (4+ years)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Analytical with attention to detail and ability to see the big picture
• Organizational and prioritization skills, including project management
• Self-motivated, independent work style
• Experience with group reinsurance and change management is a plus
