Senior Finance Account Analyst

In this role you partner with clients and internal teams to craft project budgets and new business proposals within Medpace's CRO context. You will guide strategic budget development to align client needs with company goals, impacting bid accuracy and profitability. You'll work across bids, contracts, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and clear communication with sponsors. This is a client-facing, finance-focused role that shapes proposals and budget management in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop fee estimates for RFPs, budget revisions, and contract amendments
• Provide financial input for RFIs and coordinate with relevant Medpace personnel
• Ensure bids meet customer requirements and align with the bid process
• Review proposal text versus fee estimates for consistency
• Communicate with customers to manage expectations on ongoing projects
• Monitor project budgets and flag potential issues to clients and internal teams
• Review invoices and financial reports before sponsor delivery
• Generate and process new contracts; monitor changes in scope, milestones, invoicing, and modifications
• Maintain and update bid templates and boilerplate text to meet client needs
• Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in clinical research and/or contract management/pricing
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting processes
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and drug development services desired
• Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
• Excellent computer skills with strong Microsoft Excel experience
