In this role you partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial insights for major defense contracts. You will apply Earned Value management and cost controls to support baseline development, EAC processes, and program reviews. You'll help manage funding, invoicing, and risk reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive program success. - Provide timely metrics on schedule and cost performance using EVMS or related methods
- Support baseline development, charge numbers and WBS updates
- Maintain project activity structure and update systems (ERP or Cobra) as needed
- Analyze variances to budget and assist with recovery plans
- Assess risks and opportunities to cost, schedule, and EAC
- Produce time-phased EAC updates and support PMRs and QBRs
- Support program-level revenue planning and 5-year forecasting
- Prepare financial inputs and variance narratives for PMRs and QBRs
- Ensure timely invoicing and collection of receivables
- Communicate status of funding and disposition of potentially cancelable funds
- Execute other duties as assigned
- EVMS principles expertise
- Knowledge of DoD program financial controls
- Knowledge of CAS, FAR, DFARS
- Knowledge of contract types (FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M)
- Revenue recognition knowledge
- Ability to present complex information to management
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft software applications
- Strong Excel skills
