Commercial Finance Projects Manager

As Commercial Finance Projects Manager, you partner with the commercial side to challenge costs and drive FP&A improvements. You will lead ERP and reporting initiatives and collaborate with finance teams across the business. The role focuses on cost transparency, KPI tracking, and supporting strategic decisions with robust financial analysis. You will shape reporting, strengthen controls, and promote financial accountability in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

• Drive a cost challenge program with senior leadership to ensure efficient processes and robust assumptions
• Continuously develop and improve reporting processes and data accuracy, aligning with leadership
• Create robust, system-generated cost centre reporting for distribution to cost centre owners and senior stakeholders
• Manage monthly cost centre performance reviews and challenge cost centre owners on actions and spend
• Identify key value drivers and provide forward-looking analysis to support decisions
• Develop and track KPIs across commercial and operations to align with strategic objectives
• Provide operational efficiency initiatives through financial analysis
• Support working capital optimization (inventory, receivables, payables) analysis
• Support audit processes related to commercial and operational finance activities
• Promote cost ownership and financial accountability across the organisation
• Lead the preparation and development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
• Develop a roadmap for overall reporting improvements

• Fully qualified Accountant
• Ability to challenge senior leadership on performance
• Experience in process improvements, ERP developments, cost management and FP&A
• Experience with Dynamics D365 ERP & Projects system
• Strong communicator and relationship-builder across stakeholders
• Analytical thinker with proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
