Overview
Senior Director in Fitch Ratings' U.S. & Canada Corporates Energy team. You lead a small group of analysts while serving as the primary analyst for U.S. and Canadian Oil & Gas issuers. You produce timely credit research and articulate Fitch's views to market participants, guiding debt capital market decisions. You foster a collaborative, high performing team and contribute to Fitch's strategic goals and reputation in energy credit.

- Cover a 15-20 company portfolio across E&P, Refining, and Oil Field Services with varied credit ratings
- Articulate Fitch's credit views in meetings, calls, roundtables, and written research in an engaging manner
- Be a visible external representative in the ratings process to management teams, sponsors, buy-side/sell-side analysts, and media
- Assist in evaluating other credits within Corporates and related credit groups
- Foster a positive, collaborative Energy team environment and advance Fitch's strategic goals
- 10+ years in capital markets and/or credit analysis with energy sector knowledge
- Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to dissect complex topics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing, mentoring, and developing people in a team setting
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree (MBA/CFA a plus)
