Finance Analytics & AI Senior Consultant

In this role you help design and deliver finance transformation using data, AI, and automation to improve planning, forecasting, and reporting. You'll shape AI-enabled solutions across infrastructure, models, and applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding implementation. The position sits within Deloitte's Finance Transformation practice, driving value for clients through analytics, next-gen processes, and scalable data platforms. You will engage with clients, translate needs into technical designs, and manage delivery risks to achieve measurable impact.

• Support design and delivery of finance transformation solutions leveraging data, automation, ML, and generative/agentic AI
• Architect AI solutions across infrastructure, model, and application layers for planning, budgeting, forecasting, profitability, close, and consolidations
• Analyze requirements and translate into AI-focused designs, workflows, and implementation plans
• Collaborate with developers and technical teams to build AI-enabled solutions with guidance through development and testing
• Develop and support data, analytics, and AI assets using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms
• Contribute to client workshops, solution demos, testing, deployment activities, and stakeholder communications
• Identify delivery risks, track dependencies, and support cross-functional project execution

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
• 4+ years of experience with software development using Python or similar languages
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP)
• Experience taking production-grade AI solutions from conception to launch
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers
• Experience building data pipelines using vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation architectures
• Experience using Python and SQL to develop analytics/MLOps/automation solutions in AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience architecting generative/agentic AI solutions across infrastructure, model, and application layers (NVIDIA, AWS, GCP, Azure; GPT-4o, Claude, Llama; ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
• Experience working with finance data in planning, budgeting, forecasting, close, profitability, or cost allocations
• Ability to travel 50%
