Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and coach Account Managers to achieve regional sales goals
  • Establish a high-performance culture with accountability and development plans
  • Design and implement regional performance plans and succession planning
  • Conduct field coaching to reinforce customer-centric engagement
  • Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and industry standards
  • Translate national brand strategy into actionable regional plans
  • Leverage market data and analytics to adjust regional strategies
  • Oversee execution of brand initiatives and disease-area priorities
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs and other stakeholders
  • Build relationships with key customers and inform territory planning
  • Support cross-functional coordination with Medical Affairs, Patient Services, etc.
  • Manage regional budget, track performance, and report insights
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience
  • 3-5 years leading field sales teams
  • Experience in rheumatology, immunology, rare disease, biologics, or specialty care
  • Proven sales success in competitive specialty markets
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal leadership
  • Ability to travel extensively
