Overview

In this role you drive new business growth for preclinical and non-clinical toxicology services, focusing on DMPK and bioanalytical support for pharma and biotech clients. You will build and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to fuel long-term value. You will work with cross-functional teams to tailor proposals and close deals, shaping Frontage's growth on the West Coast. This is an opportunity to influence service offerings and cross-sell across a full suite of drug safety and preclinical capabilities. You will join a growth-focused, science-driven CRO that values strategic, data-informed partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed regional sales objectives
  • Develop new business opportunities via direct selling, referrals, and industry events
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients to identify growth opportunities
  • Create and implement business plans for current and potential customers
  • Respond promptly to BD leads and coordinate with internal teams
  • Qualify, pursue, and close new opportunities
  • Identify decision-makers and service needs
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline of opportunities
  • Assist with proposals, quotes, and customer contracts
  • Develop understanding of all services for cross-selling opportunities
Key requirements
  • BS or MS in biology, chemistry, or related area
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated success in sales/business development with growth
  • Solid knowledge of CRO, Biotech and Pharma industries with understanding of preclinical toxicology (GLP and non-GLP)
  • Familiar with drug development biology including toxicology, metabolism, and pharmacokinetics
  • Ability to assess leads and craft recommendations; strong written and oral presentation skills; ability to work with scientific and marketing teams; capable closer
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven
  • Strong English communication, presentation, analytical, negotiation and closing skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
