In this role you will support the Employment & Compensation Practice Group in Chicago on U.S. and global immigration matters. You will draft employer-sponsored visa petitions, assist with PERM processes, and contribute to client counseling under supervision. You will manage documentation, use case management tools, and monitor regulatory changes to advise on impact for clients. The position emphasizes precise writing, analytical work, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Draft and assemble employer-sponsored visa petitions (NIV/IV), including complex filings, RFE responses, and motions
- Support the PERM Labor Certification process
- Prepare first drafts of client communications to support senior team members
- Track and analyze client documentation to meet evidentiary standards for NIV/IV cases
- Use internal case management tools to manage multiple assignments
- Stay current on agency guidance, policy changes, and emerging immigration law and assess impact on clients' businesses

- Top academic credentials
- 1-3 years of US business immigration experience
- Global immigration experience a plus
- Writing sample required
- Admitted to and in good standing with the Illinois bar
