In this role you will lead advanced financial analysis and FP&A workstreams to deliver actionable insights across GAAP, statutory, and management reporting. You will drive finance transformation, automate reporting, and strengthen data governance with cross-functional partners. You will apply modern finance platforms, including AWS-based data solutions and Power BI, to improve reporting efficiency and decision-making. This position sits at the core of FP&A and requires partnering with actuarial, capital management, investments, and tech teams to execute priorities.

- Analyze financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Develop forecasts, scenario analyses, management reporting, and performance metrics to support planning and decisions
- Maintain controls, governance, documentation, and compliance processes; resolve data/reporting issues
- Identify and implement process, automation, and reporting improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Serve as a subject-matter resource for financial data, reporting tools, analyses, and FP&A processes
- Contribute to Finance process engineering initiatives to standardize and automate planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Coordinate transformation workstreams, partnering with Technology, Data, Actuarial, and Operations
- Develop and maintain scalable financial data models and support data governance, lineage, reconciliation, and quality standards
- Develop executive dashboards and self-service analytics using Power BI and other visualization tools
- Translate complex data into dashboards, scorecards, and metrics for senior leadership and partners
- Promote data visualization, automation, and advanced reporting to shorten cycle times
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Ten years of financial analysis experience in insurance, financial services, or investment management
- Expert knowledge of accounting/finance
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinker with ability to discuss macro business/market and regulatory issues
- Strong organizational skills and prioritization; ability to make timely decisions
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
