As a Project Finance Lead, you partner with delivery teams to shape financial strategy for a portfolio of commercial real estate and construction projects. You drive modeling, forecasting, and performance insights to inform investment and risk decisions. The role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, enabling data-driven choices and capital-efficient project execution. You will collaborate with estimators, project managers, and client stakeholders to align financial targets with delivery milestones. Your work supports transparency, performance tracking, and strategic portfolio planning.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Align financial targets with delivery milestones and client expectations.
  • Monitor project performance, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
  • Support long-range capital planning, analyze cost trends, funding, and ROI.
  • Consolidate financial data across multiple projects to guide client investments.
  • Create dashboards and reports on CPI/KPI metrics and portfolio health.
  • Present insights to leadership and clients in actionable formats.
  • Collaborate with project estimators, managers, procurement, and finance teams to validate costs and billing.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency; ensure compliance with financial policies and audits.
Key requirements
  • 7-10 years FP&A experience in construction, real estate, or project-based environments
  • Experience supporting capital projects and portfolio-level financial strategy
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI or Tableau
  • Familiarity with Procore, PMWeb, Oracle, or SAP
  • Strong understanding of project delivery models, cost structures, and capital planning
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred but not required
