Director, Finance Projects & Digital Enablement

In this role you drive the Finance project portfolio and digital enablement to deliver sustainable value across a global organization. You partner with Global Process Owners and IT to shape roadmaps, governance, and benefit realization for finance transformation. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives, ensure adoption, and build a data-driven, standardized set of finance processes. This is a strategic role that combines process optimization with technology enablement to accelerate the Modern Finance agenda.

• Lead the global Finance project portfolio in collaboration with senior finance and IT leaders
• Establish governance, roadmaps, timelines, risk management, and escalation routines for transformation initiatives
• Oversee cross-functional projects across core finance processes (Record-to-Report, Invoice-to-Pay, Intercompany, Payroll, Statutory Accounting)
• Drive disciplined project execution with clear scoping, resourcing, measurement, and alignment to enterprise priorities
• Maintain visibility into the transformation pipeline, benefits, risks, and decision points
• Develop business cases, baseline performance, success metrics, and track benefit realization through outcomes and stabilization
• Create executive dashboards on portfolio health, adoption of metrics, and value delivery
• Support annual planning with data-driven insights on returns, alignment, and resource use
• Identify and advance digital enablement opportunities (ERP, workflows, RPA, analytics, AI) in partnership with IT
• Translate process requirements into technology-enabled solutions and ensure adoption across deployment cycles
• Build and maintain roadmaps aligning technology investments with transformation priorities
• Foster technology advocacy and explore emerging capabilities to improve decision-making and user experience
• Partner with Global Process Owners to standardize, digitize, and scale global finance processes
• Define and implement global process standards, policies, KPIs, and performance management routines
• Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis, future-state design, and implementation planning
• Promote consistency across regions while balancing local statutory requirements
• Manage governance, process documentation, and continuous review for standardization and controls
• Support development of standardized scorecards, dashboards, and management routines for process health
• Lead change management, training, and adoption across global teams
• Measure adoption effectiveness and sustain value realization across the organization
• Serve as trusted partner to Finance, IT, and business leaders in transformation delivery
• Guide decision-making across stakeholders with clear options, risks, and recommended actions
• Lead and influence project teams including cross-functional members and external partners
• Establish a culture of accountability and disciplined execution across Finance projects

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
• 10+ years in finance, accounting, transformation, or related roles
• Experience leading complex cross-functional finance projects in a multinational environment
• Proven track record of finance transformation, process redesign, automation, and sustainable adoption
• Strong understanding of global finance processes (R2R, P2P, P2C, Intercompany, Payroll, Statutory Accounting) and related operations
• Experience partnering with IT on ERP, workflow, automation, analytics, and finance systems initiatives
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and finance policy environments
• Experience in shared services/global process ownership models
• Strong project leadership, governance, planning, risk management, and benefits tracking
• Digital fluency with ERP, automation, analytics, workflow tools, RPA, AI-enabled solutions
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills with cross-cultural influence
• Ability to lead change, manage ambiguity, and drive adoption in global teams
