In this finance-focused role, you will own analyses that support major R&D efforts and existing products, partnering with leadership to translate engineering problems into quantitative insights. You will deliver quick-turn analyses and scalable financial models, driving cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain. You will build end-to-end P&L models, cost targets, and novel decision frameworks to support material costs, manufacturing, and value engineering. Responsibilities
  • Own projects end-to-end from definition to implementation
  • Conduct scrappy analyses with tight timelines and build scalable solutions
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder coordination across Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain
  • Develop detailed financial models from data gathering to stakeholder presentations
  • Create P&L models for products, business lines, divisions, and acquisitions
  • Design frameworks for evaluating operational decisions including facilities, manufacturing, and supply chain
  • Establish transparency into material costs for current and future products
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain to implement cost-reduction roadmaps
  • Support executives in trading off product features, costs, and profitability
  • Perform financial review of engineering plans from a business perspective
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, engineering finance, or finance at a high-growth hardware company
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts
  • Strong analytical aptitude and numerical problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Excel for rapid analyses
  • Ability to quantify complex, ambiguous problems
  • Willingness to learn corporate systems (Salesforce, Coupa, Anaplan) and analytics tools (Palantir Foundry)
  • Comfortable communicating with large groups and senior leadership
  • US Person required due to export-controlled information access
