Overview

In this role you help modernize finance organizations and ERP environments by leading ERP transformation workstreams across finance, accounting, technology, and development teams. You will translate business needs into actionable ERP programs, drive planning, testing, cutover, and post-launch stabilization, and leverage AI to accelerate insights. You'll coach junior staff and contribute to proposals and assets. This is a hands-on, cross-functional transformation role with a clear impact on client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage ERP transformation workstreams and deliverables across client teams
• Support finance and ERP transformation initiatives including strategy, planning, design, testing, training, cutover, and stabilization
• Lead or coordinate finance and accounting cutover activities for transitions to new ERP environments
• Plan and execute testing, triage issues, and drive resolution with functional and technical teams
• Translate finance/accounting requirements into clear business and system needs for stakeholders
• Develop project plans, track risks/dependencies, facilitate sessions, and communicate progress
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through problem solving and QA of outputs
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and support data-driven client recommendations
• Apply AI technologies to enhance insights and delivery efficiency
• Contribute ERP/finance transformation expertise to proposals, methodologies, and assets
• Coach junior team members and share knowledge across project teams

Key requirements

• 3+ years of consulting, ERP implementation, finance transformation, or related experience
• Experience with ERP implementations (hands-on configuration or PMO/PM experience)
• Experience managing ERP workstreams or cross-functional teams through implementation
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and ERP-enabled processes (ROPR, OTC, P2P, GL, A/R, A/P)
• Experience in requirements gathering, process design, testing, training, cutover, issue management, or post-launch stabilization
• Ability to translate between finance/business stakeholders and technology teams
• Strong project management, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP platforms
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into workflows and critical thinking to assess outputs
• Ability to travel 25-50%
