Regional Business Development Leader - Water, Environment Consulting Services

As Regional Business Development Leader, you will shape and execute growth strategies for public-sector water and environmental markets in the Northeastern Region. You'll lead a dispersed BD team, strengthen municipal and agency relationships, and drive cross-practice collaboration to win strategic pursuits. You'll partner with regional and practice leaders to identify priorities, geographies, and opportunities, aligning capabilities to client needs. • Develop and execute regional BD plans to grow public-sector water and environmental markets
• Lead a regional BD team and align with Regional and Practice Leaders on priorities
• Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive intelligence to uncover opportunities
• Advance cross-selling across practices, markets, and regions
• Build and strengthen relationships with municipalities, public agencies, and strategic partners
• Prioritize investments and manage resources to support long-term growth
• Lead qualification and pursuit strategies in strategic opportunities; guide capture planning
• Coach teams on client development, relationship management, and account growth
• Collaborate with Marketing and pursuit teams to align throughout the pursuit lifecycle
• Provide performance updates to senior leadership and drive accountability

• 15+ years in business development, sales leadership, client management, or consulting in public-sector water, wastewater, environmental, or infrastructure markets
• Proven success leading BD teams and delivering growth
• Experience partnering with executive and regional leadership and Practice Leaders to execute growth across markets and geographies
• Strong strategic planning, sales management, and client relationship skills
• Experience with strategic pursuits, capture planning, and account development
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities
• Ability to influence and build relationships across all organization levels and external stakeholders
