Overview

In this Senior Consultant role, you will lead strategic payment programs addressing complex, industry-specific requirements. You will work with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and advance the client's digital payments agenda. You'll shape target payment journeys and ensure successful delivery from BRD/FRD to go-live with measurable KPIs. This is a hands-on, client-focused role with opportunities to influence transformation and payment technology choices.

Responsibilities

• Understands ISO 20022 standards (CBPR+ and FEDNOW/FEDWIRE) and drives related program delivery
• Defines target payment journeys (P2P, P2M, mandates/AutoPay, disputes, refunds, reconciliation) with STP and CX targets
• Translates stakeholder requirements into BRDs/FRDs/EPICs for CBPR+/ISO 20022, RTP rails, RTGS and ACH rails
• Maps data lineage and develops rules for fraud, AML, sanctions, risk scoring and consent
• Leads UAT, readiness, and go-live acceptance with KPIs
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on technology transformation programs
• Supports business development through proposals and propositions
• Applies AI-assisted tools and analytics to accelerate analysis, documentation, testing and delivery

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in management consulting
• Hands-on payment engine delivery experience in financial services (consulting preferred)
• Experience with ISO 20022, electronic payments (Wires, ACH, Immediate Payments), cross-border payments
• Knowledge of SWIFT, RTGS, SEPA, and related payment ecosystems; familiarity with RTP/Fed mechanisms is a plus
• Experience with market-leading Payment Hub products and Card Processors is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 4 days/week
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship (Infosys cannot sponsor)
• Experience in Agile delivery and banking/payments modernization programs
