Overview

In this role you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, AI-enabled business solutions across core banking domains. You will work closely with business, technology, risk, and operations to modernize workflows and integrate systems. You'll translate ambiguous needs into structured models, develop AI-driven workflows with governance, and drive rapid prototyping and value realization. This position sits in the Enterprise AI Strategy & Transformation group, offering the chance to influence how the bank scales intelligent automation and responsible AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis and solution design across payments, FX, commercial banking, and digital channel workflows
• Translate ambiguous business needs into structured process models, use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and data flow maps
• Design AI-enabled business solutions with governance, explainability, and human-in-the-loop controls
• Drive rapid prototyping and iterative use case discovery with business stakeholders using low-code tools and AI frameworks
• Own integration and API-enabled workflow design across core banking systems, payment rails, FX engines, CRM, and digital channels
• Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and outcome-based prioritization
• Identify and lead process automation opportunities across banking operations
• Embed risk, compliance, and audit controls into solution designs from inception
• Define and track outcome-based KPIs and executive reporting for transformation initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

• 8+ years in process design, application/product design, or workflow transformation within financial services
• Experience designing AI-enabled solutions (GenAI/LLM workflows) in enterprise or regulated environments
• Proficiency in BPMN, use case design, user story development, functional specs, and data flow mapping
• Proven agile delivery experience with cross-functional teams
• API and integration literacy: REST API design and data exchange specifications
• Deep understanding of banking workflows, core systems, payment rails, FX lifecycles, and digital banking
• Familiarity with vendors like FIS, Fiserv, Temenos, Thought Machine
• Strong governance, risk, compliance and audit embedding into designs
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
