Venture Capital Finance Associate

In this Finance Associate role, you will support fund accounting and investor reporting for multiple venture funds within a lean, entrepreneurial team in Menlo Park. You'll work closely with the Controller and CFO, gaining hands-on exposure to audits, tax, and GP accounting while helping to improve processes. The role offers mentorship and opportunities to grow as you contribute to fund launches and ongoing operations. • Support fund accounting and reporting across multiple venture funds and related entities
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, management fees, and fund expenses
• Maintain reconciliations, schedules, and supporting workpapers
• Track investment activity, commitments, and capital balances
• Support investor reporting and ad hoc requests
• Partner with the external fund administrator
• Support annual audit and tax processes, including K-1 reporting
• Assist with management company and GP accounting
• Support cash reconciliations and month-end close
• Contribute to process improvements, fund launches, and special projects
