Overview

In this role you will lead and support digital transformation and ERP projects for manufacturing clients, with a focus on automotive suppliers. You'll serve as a functional expert in operations and supply chain processes, guiding workshops and future-state designs. You'll drive process improvements and oversee Plex ERP implementations, data migration, testing, and end-user training. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to business development in a multinational, bilingual setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital transformation and ERP implementation projects for automotive supplier clients
• Serve as a subject-matter expert in Order Fulfillment, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Production/shop floor processes
• Facilitate discovery workshops and gather requirements in Japanese and English
• Analyze current-state operations and design future-state processes aligned with best practices
• Lead process improvement initiatives focusing on efficiency, standardization, and supply chain performance
• Support Plex ERP implementations and related manufacturing technologies
• Configure systems, support testing, deployment, and go-live activities
• Develop solution designs, business requirements, process maps, training materials, and deliverables
• Support data migration, data validation, reporting, and integration
• Deliver bilingual end-user and super-user training (Japanese and English)
• Support proposal development, client presentations, and thought leadership

Key requirements

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 3-5 years in digital transformation, ERP, or manufacturing operations
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or supplier environments
• Experience supporting Japanese-owned manufacturing companies
• Business-level Japanese and English proficiency
• Ability to facilitate workshops, trainings, and executive presentations in both languages
• Knowledge of planning, MRP, logistics, and SCM processes
• Experience implementing Plex ERP or other manufacturing ERP platforms
• Understanding of automotive processes (EDI, scheduling, inventory, traceability, supplier collaboration, lean)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a consulting setting
• Understanding of Japanese business culture and multinational work experience
• Willingness to travel
• Certifications preferred but not required
