Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance transformation initiatives, from current-state assessments to target operating model design and change management
• Collaborate with CFOs, Controllers, and FP&A leaders to align finance capabilities with enterprise strategy and growth objectives
• Design and implement future-state finance processes across FP&A, R2R, O2C, P2P, and Close & Consolidation
• Drive CFO office modernization via automation, AI, analytics, and scalable finance systems
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and support data-driven client recommendations
• Apply AI technologies to enhance insights, delivery efficiency, and outcomes
• Collaborate with consultants and cross-functional teams to strengthen transformation capabilities
• Contribute to analyses, deliverables, and client communications to ensure quality and objective alignment
• Identify opportunities to expand finance transformation scope within client engagements
• Develop methodologies, playbooks, and reusable assets; support recruitment and industry presence

Key requirements

• 3+ years of Finance Transformation experience advising CFOs on large-scale programs
• Deep functional expertise across R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A, Close & Consolidation, and related processes
• Experience modernizing finance through automation, AI, analytics, and finance systems
• Strong understanding of financial close, consolidation, reporting, and process optimization
• Advanced analytical and data visualization skills; strong Excel; ability to translate data into executive-ready insights
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into workflows with critical thinking to ensure quality outputs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and executive storytelling
• Experience in industries aligned with West Monroe core sectors and willingness to travel
