Featuring a rotating 2nd shift schedule (4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, 2-2-3), comprehensive hands-on training, and potential advancement into long-term plant roles, this is an excellent way to get your foot in the door and prove your value.</span></p><p><span ><strong>HOURS:</strong></span></p><p><span >2nd shift, 4:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m., 2-2-3 rotating schedule</span></p><p><span ><strong>WAGE:</strong></span></p><p><span >$33.00 per hour</span></p><p><span >These are temporary opportunities, with the potential for try-before-hire.</span><br> </p><p><span ><strong>SUMMARY:</strong> This position works with the Food Sanitation Team in the proper cleaning and sanitation of drain tables, cheese presses, and related cheesemaking equipment and facilities. This entry-level opportunity serves as a starting point to learn, contribute, and advance into other plant roles to build a rewarding career.</span><br> </p><p><span ><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span >Cleans all related cheesemaking equipment and facilities according to the master sanitation schedule.</span></p><li><p><span >Operates CIP system to clean equipment, including drain tables and towers.</span></p><li><p><span >Manually cleans walls, floors, presses, conveyors, and drain table augers in the table room; removes garbage and cleans garbage containers; performs general cleaning in breakroom and other plant areas as directed.</span></p><li><p><span >Uses COP tanks to clean production hoops, lids, and pallets.</span></p><li><p><span >Documents cleaning information in work sheets and sanitation schedules.</span></p><li><p><span >Titrates chemicals used to proper concentration.</span></p><li><p><span >Tests and maintains chemical dispensing equipment throughout the facility.</span></p><li><p><span >Fills and replaces chemical drums and barrels throughout the plant.</span></p><li><p><span >Anticipates needs, organizes duties, troubleshoots, and problem solves.</span></p><li><p><span >Complies with all company Safety and GMP policies.</span></p><li><p><span >Immediately reports any food safety or quality issues to management or other individual authorized to initiate action.</span></p><li><p><span >Other duties may be assigned.</span><br> </p></ul><p><span ><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></span></p><p><span >To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</span></p><p><br><span ><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span >18 years old, required.</span></p><li><p><span >High school diploma or equivalency, preferred.</span></p><li><p><span >Food manufacturing or food plant sanitation experience, desirable.</span></p></ul><p><br><span ><strong>OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span >Knowledge of Panel View operator interface for operation of equipment and CIP systems.</span></p><li><p><span >Knowledge of food manufacturing equipment.</span></p><li><p><span >Demonstrated monitoring skills to control operations of equipment or systems and watch gauges and indicators to ensure proper function.</span></p><li><p><span >Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing operating systems.</span></p><li><p><span >Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of two, three, and four-digit numbers using units of weight measurement and counts.</span></p><li><p><span >Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively so other Team Members will understand.</span></p><li><p><span >Ability to read and comprehend work-related documents, carry out instructions, and interpret charts and graphs.</span></p><li><p><span >Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or apply general rules to specific problems.</span></p><li><p><span >Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.</span></p><li><p><span >Ability to obtain internal certifications for Forklift, Motorized Pallet Truck, and Lock Out/Tag Out (training provided).</span></p></ul><p><br><span ><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></span></p><p><span >The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
