In this Finance Director role, you will own revenue forecasting and financial modeling for a consumption-based, high-growth business in San Francisco. You partner with Data Science and GTM leadership to build and refine forecasting frameworks that drive accuracy and scalable decision-making. You will shape how usage data and predictive analytics translate into executive-ready views, while staying hands-on in Excel/Sheets and iterating rapidly as the business evolves. This is a mission-critical position focused on revenue predictability and strategic financial planning in a fast-moving environment.

- Own end-to-end revenue forecast for consumption-based products (weekly/monthly and long-range views)
- Build bottoms-up forecasting models using usage drivers, cohorts, ramp curves, and contract structures
- Collaborate with Data Science to align forecasts with consumption models and predictive outputs
- Perform scenario, sensitivity, and stress testing to inform pricing and GTM decisions
- Translate data science outputs into financial assumptions and executive-ready forecasts
- Partner with GTM, RevOps, Data to connect pipeline, bookings, usage, and revenue outcomes
- Analyze ARR vs consumption dynamics, retention, and expansion by segment
- Lead headcount and tooling investment planning tied to growth roadmaps
- Prepare materials for QBRs, executive reviews, and board discussions focusing on forecast confidence and risk
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Background in Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, or revenue-focused FP&A at a high-growth tech company
- Direct experience forecasting consumption-based or usage-driven revenue
- Experience in a hypergrowth environment with evolving GTM motions
- Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets; ability to build complex multi-layered financial models
- Strong understanding of revenue forecasting, cohort analysis, ramp modeling, and expansion dynamics
- Ability to collaborate with Data Science and translate model outputs into forecasts
- Excellent judgment under uncertainty and ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
