• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that each individual feels understood and valued in their therapeutic journey.


• Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs identified during assessments, putting your expertise into practice to foster healing and growth.


• Complete all required documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, accurately and efficiently, within designated timeframes to maintain operational effectiveness.


• Develop and implement crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans that are crucial for sustaining stable functioning among patients.


• Create and manage comprehensive discharge plans that outline ongoing support and resources available post-therapy.


• Adhere strictly to all federal and state laws, as well as organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and uphold ethical standards.


• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training and pursuing further education to enhance your therapeutic skills.


• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster a collaborative approach to patient care.


• Complete all licensure-specific and mandatory trainings necessary for maintaining your certification and staying current in the field.

Your primary focus will be working with diverse populations from various backgrounds and age groups experiencing a range of mental health challenges. By employing culturally sensitive approaches, you will be providing support to patients in managing their mental health, coping with stress, and achieving therapeutic goals. This role will allow you to make significant contributions toward improving the lives of individuals and families within the community.

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, providing a foundation for licensure.


• Current licensure as a mental health professional (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C) is essential to ensure the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance in the State of Maryland.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting offering therapy services, particularly within an outpatient environment, helps candidates stand out.


• Demonstrated proficiency in completing documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly desirable.


• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth in the mental health pipeline.

• The annual salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, contingent on your experience and licensure.
