Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring accurate diagnostics.
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs, goals, and preferences, fostering an empowering therapeutic relationship.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate patient progress and well-being.
- Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care techniques, ensuring they feel engaged and informed throughout their healing journey.
- Monitor client progress rigorously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining thorough documentation of case notes to track treatment outcomes.
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive support for all clients.
- Stay informed on the latest research and treatment advancements concerning mood disorders to continuously refine and improve treatment strategies.
You will work with diverse populations, including individuals and families grappling with a variety of mood disorders, offering supportive and empathetic care tailored to their unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications- Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

- A strong demonstration of empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences is crucial.
- Time management and organizational skills are necessary to manage a caseload effectively while completing administrative tasks promptly.
- Experience in delivering evidence-based practices, particularly CBT and DBT, is highly desirable.
- Previous work with different age groups and populations facing mood disorders, trauma, or relationship issues is a plus.
- Understanding of integrated healthcare models and familiarity with collaboration among multidisciplinary teams is beneficial.
