Become a part of a well-established orthopedic practice that has been serving Abilene and the surrounding West Texas areas since 2004. Due to ongoing growth and rising demand in the region, we are looking for a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) / Interventional Pain Medicine physician to enhance access to comprehensive non-surgical musculoskeletal and spine care.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in PM&R or a related specialty
  • Fellowship-trained in Interventional Pain, Spine, or a related field
  • Desire to join an independent, physician-led practice

Clinical Scope

The PM&R/Interventional Pain physician will be instrumental in addressing the increasing demand for non-surgical musculoskeletal, spine, and pain management services in the region.

The specific clinical responsibilities will be customized based on the physician's training, experience, procedural skills, and the needs of the practice and patient population.

Expected Procedures

The anticipated procedural responsibilities may include:

  • Epidural Steroid Injections
  • Facet Injections
  • Medial Branch Blocks
  • Radiofrequency Ablations (RFA)
  • Sacroiliac (SI) Joint Injections
  • Peripheral Joint Injections
  • Ultrasound-Guided Procedures
  • EMG & Nerve Conduction Studies
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials and Management (if within approved scope)
  • Additional non-surgical spine and musculoskeletal procedures aligned with training and expertise

The final mix of procedures will correspond with the physician's training, hospital privileges, available equipment, and the long-term clinical strategy of the practice.
