Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to guide clients through their mental health challenges.
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that foster an open environment conducive to discussion and healing.
- Maintain clear and organized clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) software for efficient record-keeping.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, discussing treatment progress and addressing any additional needs clients may have.
- Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay updated on the latest developments in mental health care.
Our clinic primarily serves individuals and families who face challenges related to limited access to mental health care. You will work with a diverse client population, helping those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health issues. Qualifications- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Must hold an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.
- Demonstrated experience of at least two years in a counseling setting, preferably with clinical exposure.
- Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities with a strong comprehension of legal and ethical standards in counseling.
- Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment.
- Experience working with diverse populations and an ability to establish rapport with a wide range of clients.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other related technologies.
This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and available caseload.
