Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological needs, ensuring accurate diagnosis and identification of treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups focused on topics like stress management, coping strategies, and mental health awareness to foster community and connection among clients.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate holistic care and maintain a comprehensive support system for clients.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, empowering clients to navigate acute challenges effectively.
  • Educate clients on mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making and self-advocacy.
  • Document all client interactions and progress accurately, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights to improve treatment strategies and client outcomes.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Our clientele consists of individuals from different backgrounds, ages, and socio-economic statuses, all seeking compassionate support and tailored interventions. The diverse nature of our clients allows you to apply a broad spectrum of therapeutic techniques and gain enriching experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid licensure as an LMHC in the state of Massachusetts, affirming your capability to practice independently.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Strong skills in conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and formulating effective treatment plans with measurable objectives.

Compensation and Benefits
