Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary clinician, providing direct therapy and support to a diverse caseload of clients with significant mental health needs.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and brief evidence-based screenings to determine the mental health status of clients and recommend appropriate interventions.

  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during emergencies.

  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress to meet organizational standards.

  • On-call support during designated hours to assist clients in need of immediate care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals suffering from severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses. The LCSW is expected to approach each client with sensitivity, adapting practices to meet their unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field.

  • Current LCSW licensure in the state of Illinois is required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies specific to mental health, including risk assessment and crisis management.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
