Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of clients, crafting personalized treatment plans that reflect individual circumstances and preferences.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to effectively address a range of mental health issues.

  • Collaborate closely with a network of healthcare professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to client care.

  • Respond to crisis situations with empathy and expertise, implementing crisis intervention strategies that prioritize client safety and well-being.

  • Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives designed to raise awareness about mental health, promote available resources, and reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Many of our clients experience challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will be crucial in providing culturally competent care that acknowledges and respects their unique experiences and obstacles.

Qualifications

  • Possess an independent and active license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or hold a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).

  • Must have completed a master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with clients.

  • Exhibit a strong understanding of cultural competence, enabling effective collaboration with clients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Show proficiency in organizational skills and time management, with an emphasis on thorough and timely documentation.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience delivering telehealth services is highly desired, especially in a community mental health setting.

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be beneficial for documenting client interactions and managing care plans.

  • Experience in community outreach initiatives to promote mental wellness could help in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
