Work EnvironmentThis position is entirely remote, allowing for flexible schedules tailored to meet your personal and professional needs. You will collaborate with a team committed to providing support to students in various educational settings, including public and private schools. While most of your work will be conducted online, there may be occasional requirements for in-person meetings or events to enhance community engagement and develop local partnerships.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs an LCSW, your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation, tailored to each student’s unique requirements.
- Collaborating with educational staff, families, and medical professionals to create an integrated care plan that supports the student's overall well-being.
- Monitoring student progress toward therapeutic goals and making adjustments as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
- Providing consultation to educational staff regarding mental health issues that may affect students' performance and well-being.

QualificationsThe minimum qualifications for this role include:
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience providing therapy to clients as an independently licensed therapist.
While not required, additional experience in educational settings, familiarity with school-based mental health services, and expertise in integrating behavioral health into primary care can enhance your application.
