Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide trauma-informed individual therapy sessions employing diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's circumstances and preferences.
- Regularly set, monitor, and assess therapeutic goals to measure client progress during therapy.
- Offer accessible teletherapy options designed to accommodate clients with varying levels of access to mental health services.
- Maintain meticulous documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including training sessions, workshops, and supervision to enhance clinical skills.
As a Mental Health Counselor at Comprehend Behavioral Cognitive Therapy, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. You will employ a client-centered approach, focusing on building trust and creating a safe space for healing and growth.
Qualifications- A current and valid license in your respective state as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- A strong foundation in empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude to facilitate meaningful therapeutic relationships.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities and time-management skills to manage a caseload effectively.
While we welcome applications from all qualified candidates, preference will be given to those with prior experience in a telehealth setting or those familiar with evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Experience with specific populations or therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with caseload and experience. Additional benefits include:
