Key Responsibilities

  • Function directly as a clinician, providing essential support to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, whether virtually or during occasional community engagements.

  • Maintain and cultivate a positive rapport with clients to build trust, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for therapeutic interactions.

  • Collaborate closely with team members, participating actively in regular case discussions and planning to further collective treatment goals.

  • Conduct developmentally appropriate assessments, including evidence-based screenings, and organize more comprehensive evaluations if necessary.

  • Create and implement integrated care plans tailored to the unique needs of your clients, ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders involved in the care process, including families and healthcare providers.

  • Provide a range of focused prevention, treatment, and recovery services, adapting methods based on individual client needs and evolving treatment goals.

  • Monitor and manage a caseload of clients, offering individual, group, and family therapy sessions focused on specific presenting problems.

  • Participate in improving organizational standards by reporting and addressing unsafe situations promptly.

  • Engage in crisis intervention efforts, demonstrating decisive and appropriate actions to support clients in need during critical situations.

  • Ensure that all documentation, including reports and data, are completed in a timely manner, reflecting compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

  • Provide on-call support outside regular hours as needed, ensuring that clients have access to help when it is most required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will primarily serve adults struggling with mental health issues, particularly those facing socioeconomic challenges. Your clients will often include individuals with histories of substance abuse and various emotional disorders, emphasizing the importance of an empathetic, culturally competent approach to care. Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.

  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is mandatory.
